Our Collaborations and Partnerships

TDI works closely with organizations such as the Global Collaboration on Traumatic Stress.  TDI support for international scientific meetings is raising awareness of FAIR data practices and providing training for traumatic stress researchers.

Global Collaboration on
Traumatic Stress

TDI partners with the Global Collaboration on Traumatic Stress (GCTS).

 

We work closely with the GCTS FAIR Data Workgroup to support FAIR data practices in our field, undertaking joint projects and providing resources for GCTS FAIR Data projects.

Support for Scientific Societies

TDI partners with scientific societies to build awareness, provide training, and promote research that integrates FAIR data practices.

International Society for
Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS)

TDI sponsorship support for ISTSS Annual Meetings since 2022 has:

 

  • enabled researchers at all career stages to attend Pre-Meeting Institutes to learn about FAIR data methods

  • facilitated “Paper in a Day” workshops bringing early career researchers together for hands-on experience with data re-use – resulting in several peer-reviewed publications 

  • promoted recognition of research symposia at the Annual Meeting that involve data sharing, FAIR data methods, innovative re-use of data

 

TDI is partnering with the Research Methods Special Interest Group at ISTSS and the GCTS FAIR Data Workgroup to initiate a new FAIR Data Award at the 2026 ISTSS Annual Meeting.

European Society for
Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS)

TDI sponsorship support for ESTSS Biennial Conferences in 2023 and 2025 has:

 

  • brought experts from related fields to participate in a FAIR Data research symposium

  • enabled researchers at all career stages to attend a full day Pre-Conference Workship on FAIR data methods

  • promoted awareness of conference presentations that involve data sharing, FAIR data methods, innovative re-use of data.
